Train With Us.

  • Bronze Squad

    Swimmers build upon their basic swimming skills, focusing on refining their knowledge of all four strokes. Swimmers also learn teamwork, training etiquette and basic drills.

    Training sessions involve team activities, keeping training light hearted and fun.

    Main Focus: Skill development & instilling passion for the sport.

  • Silver Squad

    Swimmers continue to develop stoke technique and are introduced to drills and a more rigorous training regiment to prepare for competition. Swimmers develop and refine race skills, and are introduced to the biomechanics behind swimming.

    Main Focus: Technique

    Secondary Focus: Distance per stroke efficiency

  • Gold Squad

    Swimmers have excelled in the water and are working towards the highest level of swimming. These swimmers engage in a specific program designed for each swimmer to achieve their swimming goal. Swimmers develop aerobic fitness and have the opportunity to incorporate dry land sessions into their program.

    Main Focus: Technique, aerobic capacity & speed.

Southern Cross Swimming Club is the premier swimming club in the Moreton Bay region. Club swimming a great way to practice competitive social swimming. Being a club member also enables swimmers to compete at Brisbane Swimming, Qld Swimming and Swimming Australia meets.
